Hi would like to know why it is that severe weather seems to hit Northern Michigan in the evening and during the night hours rather than during the day. Is it because of the influence of the Great Lakes affecting the atmosphere or just the timing of the storms that come across the country
Not a question but.... Y’all should make a cool video about weather that we can send out to GCS kiddos in our online classrooms, just saying 😝
Since you can’t do Severe Weather classes, any chance on maybe showing some pictures of cloud formations fo watch for. I know a number of them, but refresher sure wouldn’t hurt.
What is the forecast for rain this Spring/Summer? Our lake can't take any more water!
Could we have a special hour to actively l👀k at star formations and be informed what we are seeing with you people...maybe early enough some school kids can still learn with us older folks..school will be out...but learning is so much fun.
What are they called and how are they formed? Are they rare here and normal other places?
What is the latest time period in the Spring that Northern Michigan had gotten accumulation snow ?
We’ve seen quite a bit of fog today in Petoskey, but drive a few miles inland and it’s sunny. Is this because of the temperature of the Bay and cold air temps?
What’s the basic difference between humidity and dew points. Sometimes they are confusing. It’s actually high dew points the make you feel sticky in hot weather isn’t it?
Why did some people in my family get weather alert yesterday and other didn't? Is it because of different carriers?

Though you show us in the 9:10 PM track, we did not receive any hail, just some heavy rain beating the west side of the house for only a minute or so and no extreme winds. Meredith, 44.118481, -84.584620
It was very large and rather spooky near Manton. Sounded huge on my metal roof. 😀
