When was the last time we reached that 149” in Gaylord?
Wow. I bet the kids love it. Our winter has had some really cold days but no real ⛄️. I wouldn’t know what to do with all that.
Heading North Monday morning
What is the yearly total?
It’s been raining like crazy in California. Just storm after storm with minimal sunshine.
Just took at least that amount off the roof of my covered front porch and I have the sore back to prove it :)….southwest Otsego county
I wish we had totals from my house. I live west of Vanderbilt and always get way more snow than Gaylord.
Is it okay to post dank weather memes? 🤔

This frightening footage of a big pileup in Missouri today could easily be I-75 on a snowy, windy whiteout condition day like today. People driving too fast in these conditions is usually the reason for big pileups like this.
These people were wise to stay in their vehicles. If ever caught in a nightmarish situation like this, unless your vehicle is in danger of catching fire, you're safer from other careening vehicles by staying inside and remaining buckled up.
This was along I-70 east of Kansas City today. Heavy snow reduced visibility making it impossible for drivers to see the pile up until they were in it. Video from Jameon Weaver ... See MoreSee Less
Common sense isn't so common anymore!!!
If the truckers used a cb radio anymore they could have warned other drivers. If you slow the trucks down the cars don't have any other choice but to slow down
On January 29th I drove from Sturgis (on the Indiana line) to Traverse City. From Schoolcraft to Grand Rapids I passed 4 multi-vehicle pile-ups and thankfully was able to be allowed around them. I was driving 25-40 mph and people were FLYING past me. It never occurred to them they may need to apply their brakes at some point. I left Sturgis at 9:30 and got home at 5:30. I slept well that night let me tell ya.
driving way too fast for conditions...all of them!
Conditions like this lights on and SLOW down
Everyone was driving way too fast. Snowing? Slow down. I mean, this is real simple common sense stuff right here.
Hate to say it but Michiganders do it better.
Holy crap! For the love of God stay in the truck!
My sister lives in KC and people down there have no idea how to drive in the snow. Way too fast!
Not good !!!
In poor visibility you should be a minimum of 5 seconds behind vehicle in front of you....minimum
And they all need glasses .. can’t see all them cars and trucks ... and slow down ..
Slow down people
Like far too many times; why drive that fast; why???
People are idiots
Not a SINGLE driver was driving for the weather conditions. SLOW DOWN!!!
Michigan all over again
Prayers for all involved 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Narratedx by Bill Engval...."here's your sign"...
It appears they were driving to fast for conditions even without running into a whiteout
Faster faster ...
You shouldn't be driving so fast that you can't stop in time for the visibility on the road. I drove back from Grand Rapids 2 years ago in a blizzard and people were still doing 70+ passing me. I passed them later when they were in the ditch.
... but the speed limit.... *sarcasm*

Is this whirling dervish snowcloud ever going to stop dumping snow and move on??? Snowing hard in downtown Gaylord.
45.049960, -84.791850. 5:00 p.m. photo. Five inches. About 20" this week and it's still snowing.
Exactly why didn't we have a weather warning instead we have an advisory?? Conditions were horrible today with gusting winds and low visibilities?? We definitely had more than two inches of snow accumulations today too!!
Any sign of warmer weather or just no more storms ? 🤦♂️

It's a sad day when we have to use the word 'pleasant' to describe 20° highs and single digit lows...UGH!
Unless it will melt the 4ft of snow that has fallen in my yard these past 2 wks, it's not pleasant!
Hopefully no more snow storm for a long time
