A few inches of light fluffy snow the last 48 hours, blanketing near a foot of old snow that was topped with a thick ice layer from freezing rain earlier in the week. Forecast calls for a system to come through over the weekend, let's hope we get a foot or more!
Groomers were out this week, working on getting a good base started. With the freezing rain earlier in the week, we should be off to a "solid" base once we get another good amount of snow.

Trails remain in excellent condition. Last grooming was on Friday, January 9th. Entire system was groomed. Due to very light traffic no grooming has been necessary. Entire system will be groomed on Monday, January 12th. Grooming thereafter will depend on snowfall and traffic. Logging on Trails 492 and 493. Watch for trucks and logging signs. Logging trucks are using the trails daily. Snowmobiles traveling from the ferry, please pick up maps at the map box at the trailhead of 492.
